My copy of Viva Vegan! by Terry Hope Romeo that I won from one of MisoForBreakfast's give-aways during Vegan Mofo! Eeek, I am so excited! I only had a quick look so far, but I can't wait to read it when I get home tonight and I am already veeeery excited about the flan recipes.. :)
I'm running very late right now, so I'm keeping this blog-post short and sweet, but I'll be back to regular blogging soon to keep true to (one of) my new year's resolution(s). (I am usually good at keeping them, I celebrated my three year vegan-anniversary a few days ago on January 1st! :))
Breakfast today: Chia pudding with apple-strudel style topping.
I know I wasn't very active in December, so this is belated, but I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and safe and joyful new year's celebrations! Happy 2011!
Mmmmm, your breakfast looks really delicious. Congrats, on the book, how fun!
ReplyDeleteI just read about those chia seeds, do you have any idea where I could buy them?
ReplyDeleteI miss your blog posts and your photos! Hope I won't have to wait til next MoFo to read more from you again!
Tisi - Sorry, I read your comment but totally forgot to reply. I got my chia seeds from iHerb, but the package got stuck in customs (it got through just fine, no questions asked). I will probably order from sachia.de next time (in February), that'd make it all a bit easier (I love iHerb but both shops are about the same price-wise so..). :)
ReplyDeleteYou will love this book! It's definitely one of my favourite cookbooks and I learned so much from it. Plus, Terry's recipes are the bomb!
ReplyDeleteHi, Julia! Let us know if you find any favorite recipes in the book! ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy veganniversary!
ReplyDeleteThis book landed on my doorstep this weekend, and I'm already cooking from it. Congrats on your win!
